Campaign Funds

Although the general consensus from the planners at the recent SWDP event was that the ‘Lawn Farm’ development would not go through planning; it is crucial that we continue to appose the scheme. If planning is turned down, Cerda and Kler will take the application to appeal where their barrister will try to overturn the decision.

This is where the WRAG will need and use the majority of funds raised and we will be seeking pledges of support from members when we face that situation.

Meanwhile, we are already incurring some smaller scale costs for publicity, events and administrative expenditure although most of the costs so far have been borne by members of the committee. At this stage, members contributions of £10.00 would be appreciated. Again, these will be treated as anonymous donations.
